Summer Program
Our Summer Theme this year is Science Fun! Tuesdays and Thursdays will be stories, crafts, games and snacks. Wednesday will be Science Fun. Pre-registration can be done a week in advance and would be great to give us an idea of numbers to prepare for. Call the library during public hours or leave a message on Facebook.

Tuesdays 1:30 – 3:00 - Ages 4-8
Wednesday 1:30 – 3:00 - Science Fun Day
Thursday 1:30 – 3:00 – Ages 9 and up

The program ends on August 23 but the library will be open for summer hours August 28-30.
Our reading contest will end on August 31 – read 5 books and bring the list into the library to get an entry in for one of our great prizes! The draw will be made at our Board Meeting on September 6th.

Summer Entertainer
PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE VILLAGE OFFICE #2 (OLD MASONIC LODGE BY THE WATER TOWER) Mark your Calendar for our Summer Entertainer on August 7 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. This year we will be having Jason Clevett and the Canadian Reptile Encounters. Come out and meet boas, pythons, dragons, frogs and more!

PLEASE NOTE: You need to pre-register to attend this event as there is a limited number of children allowed for the presentation. It is recommended that you arrive 10 - 15 minutes early as doors will be closed to entry at 6:00. This is an hour long show is best for children 5 and up and that younger children in the audience should be kept under close supervision. Younger children running around and screaming during the show is distracting for both the animals, entertainer and other audience members. Other libraries have had incidents of younger children trying to run up and grab the animals; please note that this is unacceptable behaviour. Make sure you bring your camera and cell phones. Non-flash photography is welcome during the show. After the show you can purchase a special memory from the reptile show - a posed photo with one of the incredible animals we will be meeting! Photos are just $5 with your camera, or 4 for $15 (per individual). Multiple animals will be available post show for photographs. A portion of photo sales will be donated to reptile & amphibian conservation
We always look forward to seeing you at the Library!
